Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone tried to burn the ISO to disc just as a data file. Then when you need to burn the game again if they had burned the game from that disc, or would I record my iso backup to my hard drive first then burn it, as far as getting better results i.e. disc quality.

Is burning an a game from an ISO located on another DVD bad? OR do I really need to burn the game from the hard drive?

Question 2. Does the quality of the ISO get worse if it is recorded as an ISO/UDF disc (just the mds and mdf files) and then we I need to reburn the game if I just use the disc to disc method. Does that change the quality of the burn.

I am going to be getting a 50 stack of taiyo yuden for supermedia store online and I will be doing some experimenting.

I would like to hear anyone experiments on what they have came up with on backing up the games .mds and mdf files for later use (not just keeping them on their hard drives), and if anyone has found that the quality after the first burn from the original if it degrades or does not change.

I have noticed that I backed up my soul calibur III and it is weird it will get into the game, but when you go to choose your fighter, they never appear and after you choose the game reboots back to the beginning????? Not sure if this is media or what but I am totally new at backing them up but I will post all sorts of things on this site to help everyone out....thanks for all your input.

why on earth would anyone burn the ISO to disk as a data file? this is just plain ignorant unless it was for the purpose of adding multiple small ISOs to a single disk. if you simply want to have a way to reburn the image later, just rip the disk again.
