the hack uses a cracked firmware on the dvd drive but they won't give us hackers the code or how to do it because they don't want to support piracy
so all though this is good it really isn't all that great if you want more info

though this looks real why would the hacker first release the video at youtube. There could be another 360 pluged behind or maybe its is just a video of a 360 game playing

This hack successed in their system. Because they know how to change the firmware of DVD drive. But for us, it is very hard to do so. Even they release the instruction, I dont think we are able do it.
If they hack the firmware in dvd drive and sell it to us, then we are ok.

LOL, hey, have you read the procedures?? Man i already know how to do the connection to pc to xbox 360 dvd drive, but opening up the firmware and changing the hex codes is the part where my expertise is not in hand..i need pointers...but have you tried it yourself?

Yeah im going to wait untill someone actually realeses some hacked Firmware, don't feel like modding it myself it just looks to damn hard. I could easily do the hardware bit though.

dude, I dont want to fuck up my dvd drive. Even they give me instruction how to mod the firmware or how to edit the hex code, I still dont want to do it. If I mess up my dvd drive, the xbox 360 is useless.
If they release the hacked firmware, I will flash it to my dvd drive.

ok easiest way i know how to do this is all u need to know is the firmware extesion file. which happens to be the funny part ;). example:
pgr3.xex is the file extension for the firmware on the dvd drive. all u have to do is manually convert it before you burn it. do wat ud like wit this info and let me know where u get

thats link was already posted...but newais, i would do it an put the hacked firmware, but the reason im not going to do it right now because its a new hack, and of course new hacks have bugs and may not work for everything, besides that, im still waiting if anyone else done it lol...well yeah, thats what i think so far..

someone said the pgr was so buggy, that the reason why it played is becuz of the bugs..i unno for sure but, someone said that in the forums
