I want to connect my 360 to my pc. My pc has Media Center 2002 instead of the 2005. Is there a way to upgrade it instead of having to buy something new? I tried installing the things on the pcsetup site and it didnt work.

*update* I updated my media center to 2004 but I dont know how to get 2005.

problem

dont use media center edition 2005 wait for 2006 which will be realeased in november of this year

media center edition 2005 wont let you update the .net firmware to version 2.0 the latest version because media center is only compatible with version 1.1 .net firmware

also the connectivity software has bugs and i mean bugs

it causes the 360 to crash or even my favorite when you install the connectivity software

it causes dvd playback on media center to fail or malfunction

I use media center 2002 and I have had no problems with it connecting to my xbox. Not sure why yours is giving you grief.
