Im trying to back up a copy of HP and the goblet of fire using the tried and tested method of reading ISO with dvd decrypter then writing the iso to a dvd using dvd decrypter. However the disc will boot but thats as far as it gets. (I have a modchip in my slimline ps2)

Any sugestions as to why this wont work?

The discs are Taiyo Yuden and the burn speed is 2x. It works fine on my mates PS2 but not on mine although he has a different modchip. Should that matter? I havent came across a game yet that wouldnt play on mine once backed up.
