Hey all! >:O)

Have some legal mame stuff, but lots of questions. My system should be more than enough to crank out MAME, but I can't seem to configure the settings well enough to handle the CHD versions of Guantlet(Dark Legends and such). Does anyone have any advice? Currently just upgraded to a new machine with an AMD Sempron 3000+ processor, 200 GB HD, 1.5 GB DDR RAM, and have a GeForce 6600 256MB Video card, and Windows 2000 Prefessional. I'm trying to use MAME32, but again, these CHD's run waaaaay to slow to even be playable, and I've tried editing default options, only to screw up the other games. Editing individual CHD title zsettings seems useless as well. Also, I was wondering if there were any other windows based front ends that might be better, as well as finding resources on configuring Arcade OS or other ways to set up my computer as a MAME cabinet. I can't find anything that gets into specific detail when it comes to setting up a computer for an arcade based OS. Appreciate any help!
