tried spyweeper spykill microsoft antispyware allso norton antivirus but nothing still have the same problem also tried l2mfix as i found out that these pop ups are related to look2me or something
really need some help thank you very much it's corrutping some of the programs also trying to launch nero says "nero execu-table file was modified ........"
when trying to uninstall something it says
C:\Program Files\........\unins000.msg is misisng.please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the program so i always have to re install the programm to uninstall it
and explorer crashes often the icons on the desktop disappear psl help thanks
@philraz: Blacklight may also needed. Currently many l2m are bundled with a spamtool rootkit, which is only visible in blacklight, rootkit revealer etc.
tried to remove these pop ups the way theu showed on the link you gave me http://www.pchell.com/support/look2me.shtml did't work still have pop ups and tried look2meremover when i click scan it starts scanning and then the computer crashes to a blue screen "windows has detected something ..... you need to shut down pls help this pop ups are slowing my computer drasticly thanks
* Close all windows before continuing.
* Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
* Put a check next to Run this program as a task.
* You will receive a message saying Look2Me-Destroyer will close and re-open in approximately 10 seconds. Click OK
* When Look2Me-Destroyer re-opens, click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
* You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
* When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
* Your computer will then shutdown.
* Turn your computer back on.
* Please post the contents of C:\Look2Me-Destroyer.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
If you receive a message from your firewall about this program accessing the internet please allow it.
