Can you make backups of the Swap Magic disks???

nope, it's just like backing up a ps2 games, which you will get "Please insert a playstation or a playstation 2 format disc".

go buy one, i bought mine for $20.

Already have orginals. Just didn't want my kids to kill them off like they do their games.

you could always make a cogswap exploit, if the swap magic get scratch, you will still have an alternate way of playing back up. :)

a back up will do you no good. Yes you can make a copy of one but you would need an original copy of Swap Magic to load the back up copy.
If you are real worried then get a mod chip installed and throw out those bleeping Swap Magic discs.
