I've used the Bobblanker to decipher the files, then created a new folder for the good files to go to, but when I tried putting these on a disc, it would'nt play.
I've got some IFO, VOB, and BOP files. I can play the movie on the pc using the VOB (large) files, but only certain ones.
They are all VIDEO_TS files, with numbers attached.
Thanks for any help.
p.s. I've tried different methods, made a couple of coasters, and tried just putting the large VIDEO_TS files on a dvd+rw, but it would'nt play in the stand alone dvd player.
I no longer have the original dvd (Walk The Line), but have more than enough of the files on the pc.

Have you used DVD Shrink to compress your file to fit onto a DVD5 disk, otherwise your file is too big for your media. Get DVD Shrink here and guide

Yes, I've used DVD Shrink. I always try DVD X COPY EXPRESS before anything else, and if that fails, I try the alternatives: DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and recently acquired dvd fab, and Vobblanker.
I used a guide for Vobblanker, which seemed the most promising (the other methods locked up or stopped working). The Vobblanker gave me a file over 7.59gb big, but then gave me the usable files @ 4.35gb, but I still can't seem to make a good video.
Thanks for any help.

Try using CloneDVD2 along with AnyDVD from Slysoft. Worked very well for me. www.slysoft.com

Not exactly sure of your problem. I used VobBlanker on this movie with no problems, in fact, as I recall I got it down to around 5GB, and then ripped/burned with Recode2.

Best regards,

To restore a workable Video DVD, you need the .IFO file that has the same prefix as your .VOB files. This file tells the DVD player about the structure of the .VOB files, such as what audio and other tracks are available. The VIDEO_TS files are not required, and will be regenerated by the compilation programs such as DVD Shrink.

If you use VOBB, and select a folder to send the output contents, with Shrink, just use "Open Files" and navigate to the appropriate folder. That's it.
