Please help!

I am getting absolutely miserable download speeds with azureus. I have looked at other posts here and a lot of mention is given to router problems, but as far as I can tell I do not have a router. I am told I have a "Firewall/NAT (TCP) reachability problem, and it also says "DHT Firewalled".

I have tried the following with no success:

1. Disabled windows firewall
2. Repeatedly changed my port
3. Enabled UPnP
4. Limited my upload speed to around 20kbs

I seem to get good download rates when downloading from uknova, around 30-40kbs, but from the likes of torrentspy and mininova I am lucky to get around 5kbs.

If anyone has any suggestions Iwould greatly appreciate them.

I don't think a lack of seeders is the problem. For instance I have for one torrent at the moment 222 seeders, of which only 5 am I connected to.

Tell us the brand and model of your modem.

Also try this site but make sure you dont use the 6881 port listed but rather a port between 50000-65000.

I have an NTL:Business 2020 broadband modem, model no. 08004EU.

I tried installing the tweaking patch, but it told me my system has no limitation and so it didn't install.
