Hello, I have used afterdawn for almost all of my DVD backup information, and would just like to start my first post by saying thanks to all of the people that contibue to this great site.
My problem has just recently started, and only occurred with two movies, X-Men and Unfaithful. After copying the movie, apparently successfull, I play the movie and everything appears to be correct until suddenly the movie stops playing.
I am using AnyDVD 5.9.4.1 with CloneDVD2 2.8.9.2
I have burnt >500 successful movies
The media is cheap, but I've burnt the X-Men movie 4x and Unfaithful 2x.
The media is 8x and I ALWAYS burn at 6x (or one speed slower than disc)
DVD Burner is 8x.
The DVD appears to be burnt completely (I can see where its burnt to the edge of the disc)
The original plays correctly.
Everytime I burn those particular movies it stops at the same place.
The stop occurs in between chapters.
Copied other movies before and after, and they are successful.
Burn times are consistent with other movies (~30 min.)
Some burns were on different media (again cheap but very successful with me)
With X-Men, I ripped and burned the disc multiple times w/ no errors.
I believe that it has occured since I last upgraded CloneDVD or AnyDVD.
Could this be an issue with the original? (I think this is the problem)
Could this be an issue with AnyDVD/CloneDVD (although it only has happened to these two movies)?
Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to be as thorough as I could be in describing the circumstances. Any questions, comments, suggestions, or help is appreciated. Thanx.
