whats up everyone

recently backed up a couple of dvd's onto my computer and i wanted to transfer the files to my 250 gb external hard drive. when i attempt to transfer i get a message that reads "cannot copy file: there is not enough free disk space."

the file im trying to move is 4.5 gig and i just recently wipe out most of the hd, and it has 198 gig free. i dont understand whats going on. i tried restarting the comp and the hd and still stuck with the same message.

if it matters, i ripped the dvd with dvd shrink and burnt w/ dvd decrypter.

Greatly appreciate all help! Thanks

thanks for the response, its a maxtor 250 gig. hooked up w/ usb which is the only option. i've had no problem putting on 1.5 gigs, but they were usually broken into smaller files

Okay, here might be a solution, but it might take a minute or two. If you have Power ISO open it up and open one of the image files. It will open it up and show you everything in it. Try clicking on extract file, and extract it too your external HD. This was all the data won't try to go at once, maybe that'll work. I'll keep checking in, so let me know if it works.
Here's a link for power iso

yeah quite often. It's built into the video. I don't know why the Audio TS folder is even there.
