i have a simple question is it worth the 100.00 for a hard drive the problem i have is that i purchased a core system and a 64 meg memory card i found out

that my game saves are 200k

the xbox live save file is 200k

400 k total

then i got the points card and the free joust game but that game is 25 mb and will decrease my memory card so much

my question is this

is the hard drive really worth it???

is the free xbox live arcade game worth the download??

does the free joust game play online on xbox live or is it a single player game ???

i need some answers please

Hard drive is only worth it if you want to later use it to keep copies of your games on it.

Well do you want to play old xbox games on your 360 if so you need the hard drive for that.

i have to agree with them, the only bonus to having a memory card would be going to circuit city/best buy/walmart and getting their exclusive content (ie. circuit city car for full auto) or something along those lines, otherwise it's not even worth it, not to mention no HDD no demo's from marketplace.

I have a Core and used a memory card for 3 months. Thankfully my wife bought me an HDD, 12 month Live package and wireless adapter for my B-day this weekend. Trust me as someone who was in the same position the harddrive is very much worth the $100. I have 7 demos on my HDD and you can download trial versions of every live arcade game for free. I'm still having lots of fun with the Burnout Revenge demo and Geometry Wars trial version.
