Is there a list of successfull ps2 backups? Just by useing dvd decrypter and not having to rebuild or add patches. Or, maybe easier a list of unsuccessfull backups , just curious if anybody has posted such a thing.

There are some lists if you search enough but they are not complete at any means! the best way to find out is to look for games that do need altering as there arent as many of those! go to www.swapmagicfix.com to see what need patches to work, and a rule of thumb is that if a game has an iso larger than the iso size of the swapmagic you are using you need a rebuild! although if you are using a modchip no games need to be rebuilt!
also try searching for the game in the forums here and there will almost definatly be some thread on it, whether its a problem or just to say it works!

with the vast extense of games out there, it is really impossible to put together a complete list. As there are too many games, people using too many different programs to copy them, too many kinds of media they copy them to, and several different methods of booting them, and too many different burners being used.

All of these factors effect the outcome. But searching the threads for a game name that you want to copy is a good first step.
