Do u think the 360 is a rip off or its the best thing out right now. i wonder if the ipod is better.

first the ipod and 360 are no-where near related.

gaming console wise - 360 is the best available console, and i'm having my doubts about the p3s and the revolution. (no comments about how u think the fore-mentioned systems will dominate the market)

and if ur buying a 360 then go for premium pack since it's the best deal. also - if ur really into bootleg games then the 360 is probably not high on your list, nor will the ps3 or the revolution be, atleast not right out of the gates, so if that's what your into then you should look at buying one of the older consoles (ps2/xbox/gamecube). the only bad thing i've noticed about the 360 is the pricepoint for both the console and the peripherals. marketplace and the arcade games are a reasonable deal, i mean look at zuma/bejewled it costs roughly $5 to buy those on marketplace and if u went to a store and bought them it's between $9-$19.

if your not yet into the HD experience that's fine, because it still looks great on the SD sets that are most commonplace. some of the text may be hard to read (GRAW - training mission instructions/FFXI Beta) if u have surround sound it's excelent even if it's not true dolby 5.1 but a simulated dolby 5.1.

if your not a hardcore gamer and are just buying one to be cool and fit in w/ your peers who may have one, then i'd say it's not worth the money, but if you do enjoy serious gaming and have the money then i'd say go for it.

and i wont even comment on the ipod.

^^no its not and thats real ignorant, i dont own a 360 or an ipod but i plan to buy both in the future. You must not know of anywhere to use an iPod since you think its useless, maybe for you, but if you had no time to play a 360 wouldnt it be a complete waste of money as well?

I personally love my ipod video, but if i didn't have a 360 yet or an ipod i would still spend my money on the 360.
