Hi, today just for fun I put my Xbox game in my ps2 and it played an Xbox video and after that it said ??THIS IS A XBOX GAME, PLEASE INSERT IT IN YOUR XBOX??. Doesn?t that mean that the ps2 can read Xbox games but won?t play them? If so isn?t it possible that somehow you could play Xbox games with your ps2 with like a hack or a firmware update or something like that, well I was just wondering cause that would be tyt if I could buy Xbox games and play it on my ps2.
The cd data on the xbox disk played as an audio cd. samething as dreamcast, you can put dreamcast games in any cd player and it will play, "this is dreamcast disk please dont go to track 2."
Same thing happened to me. I put Halo 2 in and said "This is an Xbox Game, Please insert in your Xbox". I then put it in my computer and I ran it as a DVD movie and it said the same thing. And I also put it in my DVD player. So I figure that when you put your Xbox game into your computer, PS2 or DVD player it only understands it as a movie disc.
