hey guys,

I have a black video ipod capable of video podcasts. This is really wierd. I have downloaded 2 video podcasts and neither of them show up on my ipod. I have synced my ipod many times and each time it says thay are on there but they are not. They arent in my ipod podcast directory, or listed under Artist......Also a funny thing is i also subscribe to a regular podcast and when those download to my ipod they dont show up on my podcast directory on my ipod. I have to go to the artist or recently added to play these. Please Help! Very Annoying.

What firmware are you currently running? It could be a firware problem.

If you are running v1.1, you need to downgrade to v1.0. A tut on how to do this can be found here:
http://www.ipodhacks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=813

The download for v1.0 firware can be found here:

If you are running v1.0 firmware already or my suggestion doesn't fix it, feel free to post back. ;-)

Hi there, coolGray.

I doubt very much that this is a firmware issue.

I believe the first thing you should try before hastily downgrading your firmware, is to simply restore your iPod back to factory state. Then simply reload the contents of your iPod & re-adjust the settings.
