Great CPU and great RAM. However, I strongly suggest a motherboard with the nVidia nForce 4 chipset as opposed to a VIA one.

Why is nforce 4 better, if they are- in wat ways over VIA?

I would pick a motherboard with nForce chipset myself because it's more reptiable then VIA in my opinion. But for what you're doing, everything you picked should work out for you nicely.

But for future references, never every pick out any motherboards with SiS chipsets. They suck really bad.

nForce 4 for the following reasons:

Performs better
Better drivers
More stable
Overclocks better
Has better features
Dominates benchmarks
