The Godfather DVD Back-Up Help... NTSC Version

I'm trying to make a back-up of my NTSC version of Godfather on a TDK DVD+R and the back-up will work but the cd will make several skipping sounds while working and the levels will sometimes freeze up and the maps will become invisible... I've made two copies, one straight off the bat with Nero and one with a read and write process from DVD Decrypter... Both give me the same problem... However my original works just fine... Can someone please help me? I know it's not my burner, I tried it on two different burners... Also, my media has never failed on me before... Thank you for your time.

i would tryusing DVD-R instead of +R. usually most ps2 play alot better on the negatives. also did u burn at either 2x or 4x. i burn at 2x and it never gives me problems. i have a copy of the godfather and it works great. just might be ur media.

I made 3 copies of Godfather on Sony Disc's and they all work perfectly so im guessing its the TDK because i bought two 25 packs for like 7$ each and tried backing up a couple games and they skipped alot and i could hear the laser struggling so i endded up returning them, so i suggest trying some better media

I think I figured this one out, I burned it first on a TY at 4x, but it was skipping and messing up, so then I burned it at 6x and now it works flawlessly, this is the 2nd game that worked better for me at 6x, im gonna burn all my games at 6x from now on....
