I am trying to create a CD/DVD storybook that can be personalized.

The CD version I can handle in Director and be able to have the kid input their name and info and have it write the file to the Hard drive and reference it when it needs to.

On a DVD is there a way to create a keypad and have the kid enter their name and store it in some buffer and call it when it needs to? This is my first DVD project. I am wondering what the limitations are.

What authoring package would be the best for what I want.
