I have been using Bittornado with ports forwarded on a 2.5 MB ADSL connection (router,SP2 firewall) and never had a problem getting green lights until 11/2 weeks ago. I started having problems connecting to some torrents (black light even after 1 hour) but not all. A few didn't go green but stayed yellow until completion with incredible speeds (150+ and others went green). I have seen green light speeds of 200+ but usually get 40 - 100. Now, Bittornado won't connect at all. I reinstalled it and reset my ports but no luck, so I uninstalled it and installed Utorrent and forwarded its ports. It shows a slight connection (1 but usually 0) and shows an open port capable of downloadiing but also gives the message that "unable to map UpnP port to 198.---.---.--- (my ip address):32459 (its port to download)" which sounds like a port needs forwarding but I'm not sure. My isp(Telus,Canada) hasn't started port throttling that I know of (I've checked on a few forums) and my ip address is dynamic but hasn't changed in the 2 years I've been checking. I guess it must be from something other than the router. No router with a modem is just as bad, so thanks anyway.
