Hello, i am sure you get these all the time but i really would appreciate help if anyone could! i am trying to back up my copy of fifa street 2 and have never managed to succsesfully back up a copy before. So i have downloaded the game from torrent and now have a load of001, 002 files etc. I read somewhere that i should use win RAR to unzip the first file and then burn the image to dvd which i did using dvd decrypter. However as usual i get the message not a valid ps2 disk on swap magic! I am using bulkpaq dvd R 8 speed although i am recording at 1x. They are orange in colour if that helps??? any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

my first advice would be to dump that generic media and get some good quality media.
The second would be to burn an 8X DVD at 4X, not 1X
Third would be to check to see if there is any updated firmware for your burner on the web.
make sure you shut down all other programs and do not use the PC when burning.
Also check to see if that game needs a patch or fix to work with swap magic. I know Fifa Street & Fifa 2006 did.

You can't go wrong with Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim, and like Steimy said, you'll want to burn it at 4X, if it's an 8X disc. As far as your burner's model #, right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager. Click on the "+" sign next to "DVD/CD-ROM Drives". Then, you should see your drive there. It should read something along the line of Benq DW1640 (just an example). Finally as far as the patches, you can get them at www.swapmagicfix.com and they usually come with a Readme.txt file that will walk you through the process.
