does anyone know the thread or can tell me how to put games onto back ups with the action replay codes in... so you can cheat the hard drive advance when its put on...or did i just imagine there was a thread about this...

If you want to play games off your HDD with Action Replay cheat codes follow these instructions. First load Action Replay. Then enter the cheats you want for the game you want. Then take your HD Advance or HD Loader disc (must be original if you don't have a mod chip) and put it in. Then press start to start your game. HD Advance or HD Loader will then load up. Now find the game you want to play and run it. And there you go. You're cheats should be on and working.

aight thanks i thought i read that the ar had to be extracted and put on a disc with the game then put on the hd advance...guess i read wrong thanks

you might be thinking of my guide, located in my sig. You CAN just load Hdadvance after ARMAX but thats if you have an original HDadvance or have a modchip. I use my method because i use the memory card exploit to boot hdloader and ARmax wont load a ps1 game after choosing codes. It also eliminates all swaps so you dont need to take the hdadvance disc out.
