hi all i have had this mini ipod for a year and it just froze the other day, i mean nothin working so i resetted it by pressing 'menu and the middle button and when i on it now it shows and apple sign for about 30secs and show a picture of a ipod with a unhappy face.

i connected it up to my computer i makes the noise and the i pod ons but nothing happens i leaveit there for a hours nothing happens.

its not on my computer or i tunes and or ipod software

plese help i need an ipod bad =)

Are you still under warranty, my friend ~?

Unfortunately, in my experiences with repairing iPods, a 'Sad iPod' symbol combined with hard drive irregularities generally mean the iPod is internally faulty -- and will need looking at by a specialist iPod technician.
