Has anyone here actually performed the 360 dvd firmware hack. So far from what I can gather, all you need to do is get the right apps, connect the drive to any pc and use the apps to dump, alter then re-write to the drive. Is this absolutley correct? I will attempt this on thursday and let everyone know if all goes well. Not that I'm worried about wrecking the system, seeing as how I have a complete warranty on the system for a year. If anything happens, I get a new one! Here's hoping it works! For the record, no this hack does not let you run unsigned code, only backups of xbox games! Which means yes you might actually be able to play that backup of H2 you have!

Ummm no, altering your system in any way will void warrenty and you can't trade it in

So in other words if you break it...You will not be able to get a new 1 with the warrenty

But you can do as you wish...But just so you know
