i have had this problem b4 with another backedup ps2 game and was wondering was causes it. the game i am having dnas problem is 25 to life it just freezes at the dnas check part. the offline game works tho. i patched it with ps2nfo version 1.6 thats the windip patcher that has the ps2nfo skin on it. that maybe its the downloaded game it self i may try getting it again and making sure its a different ntsc copy of the same game and maybe its the dvd media am using. yes i am using cheap media its matrix but i dont think thats the problem, does any1 else ever had this problem.

I think the media might be the problem. Your best bet is to get Taiyo's or Verbatim's. Definetly, stay away from memorex, or most cheap no name brands, like Staples and such.
