flip top won't read swap magic

The swap magic discs will not boot up on a PS2 (fat not slim) after I installed the flip top. The PS2 says disc read error when it tries to load. I've tried loosening the screws but that did not work. Original games still work.

Your laser needs a adjustment if not your laser is pretty much close to dead seach google for more info on how to do it
