Alright I have a few questions to ask. Once in a while I download a ps1 game that's img or bin(without cue) and I don't know what to do with them. I tried burning the img one with alcohol, but it doesn't work on my playstation. It works on epsxe though, strange enough.
Also, I need to know if my NTSC playstation, modded in Europe but I don't think that's relevant, can play PAL games. Thanks.

dont know if this might be the problem , but i was informed a few years back that you should burn your ps1 games at the slowest speed possible to avoid some problems, this may not apply to you , but it may help.

Use Alcohol 120% to burn those files, burn them at 4x onto CD-R.

don't you have to use DVD Decrypter to burn IMG files onto cd? I tried to use alcohol and it said the file was not recognized. But I couldn't play my ps1 cdr games on my duochip-modded ps2, can anyone help me?

You may need to enable a specific mode on your chip. Check the official site for more instructions.
