Hi

I have an xbox 360 (core system) and an ipod with a few photos stored on it. They are all in jpeg format.
When I connect the ipod I can access the music but when i click into pictures, I cant even select the "Portable Device" button.

Does anybody know why thi might be and how i can fix it??

Any help is greatly apreciated.

You are connecting your iPod directly into your 360?? I didn't even know you could do that.

there's an update in the 360 marketplace for iPods you might try that idk if it helps but its worth a go...

ok the update in the xbox live marketplace is for music only

videos and pictures cannot be displayed the reason is the ipod contains a special kind of jpeg format associated with macintosh computers itunes converts these images into a mac format that the ipod can read but the 360 cannot

But i havent used itunes at all. Surely the 360 should recognize the ipod as a disk with photos on it.

yeah, it probably see's it as a mac formatted disc (probably why u need to download the update for ipod on the marketplace)

sames reason they have floppies for mac's and floppies for pc's.

so, as far as pictures are concerned, the update may work, but not sure. either way the ipod isn't going to be compatible w/ everything.

u didn't install the disc that came w/ ur ipod on ur pc?
