Does Azureus send e-mail?

Hi,

I've been using Azureus and I also run the firewall Zonealarm. I set it to alert me when Azureus wanted to do anything and it asks me periodically if I'd like to let it send emails. Does anyone know if Azureus needs to do this? I'm thinking it could potentially be spyware related and would like to know if there is spyware within the azureus software or if its safe to allow it to send emails (or do everything else it does for that matter).

i got the same thing and didnt know why it was doing that so i just perm blocked it
