I like to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on my laptop all the time, the problem is when you switch out of the game to work on other things, like browsing the internet and such, when you go back to the game the video is messed up. So I either need a way to fix that or a way to play the game in a windowed mode instead of full screen, but the game gives no option for this. Is there a program out there that can force a windowed version of a program (such as GTA)? There might be a way to fix something in my computer settings so the game's video is not screwed up when I come back to it but I haven't found a way.

umm i think this should work. it worked for diablo 2 :P

1-)Make Shortcut for game, if havent already

2-)Right Click>Propreties of game

3-)Where it says Target Put a -w after the text.

Hope it helps.

yup... that's what i did with no avail... still pops up in full screen (I changed the shortcut in the quicklaunch section) <-- that wouldn't screw it up would it?
