How to copy a 2-DVD Movie to 1 DVD-R

hi folks,

i would like to make a backup-copy of a 2 DVD Movie to 1 DVD-R.

For example LOTR SEE, but, almost 35 Minutes at the end is scrolling unnecessary Text (People and Staff ... don#t know how its called in english, sorry)

I would like to cut that stuff out (chapter-wise?)

how do i have to do that??

really would apreciate help.

I have done that with movie factory 2 by importing dvd after riping it to hard drive then using the cut tool.

To join the 2 disks use this guide http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html is what I have done seems to work well. The only thing I ran into is with an older player that does not have loss linking the disk wouldnt play but in newer player had no problem playing.
