alright here the prob - i have tons of files mostly .avi. how do i take these files, put on a DVD to play in a DVD player, and use what format? i use alcohol 120% and have Daemon Tools (someone said it was needed?)

You need to convert your files to DVD Compliant ones. Here is a guide and what you will need to do it. Just click on software in the guide to dl all the programs which are free.

Or if you have Nero you can convert and burn using Nero Vision Express.

Not needed or reqired, all you need is avi2dvd to perform the conversion and DVD Decrypter to burn the file to disk, all of which are free.

Get avi2dvd and DVD Decrypter here along with a good guide on use;
