Hi, I've experienced some problems with my games that i've had for about a year now. I tried to rip them to my computer and it came up saying. I/0 error, check disk condition. Obviously i got very pissed off and in the end downloaded a trial to blindwrite 5. And then bought it after so this is what i did. Programs needed:
Blindwrite (trial, full version - who cares?)
DVD decrypter
Game that is abit scratched and dvd decrypter wont read it because I/0 error.
Step 1.) Insert your damaged game into the DVD drive and open blindwrite.
Step 2.) Select read on the left menu in blindwrite.
Step 3.) when your drive with your game in is selected and the game below the drop down box says your game name select the destination, check the settings click the drop down box that says profiles and select ISO. image and click read then chill out for 5 minutes (may take longer if scratched badly).
Step 4.) Do not burn with blindwrite. Open dvd decrypter insert blank Disk and burn at 2.4X this worked with my games and PS2.

Yeah, i played it to the end, works perfectly, just like original. I did notice that it jumped when talking about once on killzone but except that gameplay and cutscenes worked flawlessly.
