Help- Ripping GameShark 2 Version 3 getting errors

The disk I am trying to copy wont play in my pS2 anymore... when I open it on my computer tho.. I can see all the files.... when I try and copy the cd I get disk read errors... I tried CloneCD .. and it only goes to 3% and sits there.... and doesnt go anyfurther... I am looking for the ISO online and cant find it... I have only used this cd a few times and it is already bad... and was like 20-30 when I purchased.... My buddy copied his cd for me..GameShark 4.. in the folder it has Image, Image.ccd, and Image.sub ... I tried to burn this with nero... and it didnt work.. I tried on both a CD-r and a DVD +r ... neither worked

Any help would be great.. I dont know what I am doing wrong

Gameshark disks have errors on them intentionally to prevent copying and it works. for burning the .ccd files, those are for CloneCD

I tried to burn it with CloneCD ... and it still doesnt work.. do I need to do anyhting special to the PS2 to get it to work?

it has to be modded to play any backup game disk............
