The disc must be dirty/scratched. Try using Alcohol 20% and set the read speed to 1x and burn to high quality media.

Any updates on this one? I used DVD Decrypter to make the iso image and used A.120% to burn it. Use Swap magic 2.0 DVD but the game doesnt load up. Anyone else have this problem? I dont know if media is the problem but it may also need rebuilding? BTW I'm using the cheap COMPUSA DVD-R's. Used the same ones for Black, Driver-PL and they both work fine.

Thanks

yes, your media is a problem, get tayo yuden or verbatim.

Thanks for the replies guyz. I won't have my hands on some Verbatims till Monday but in the mean time I tired in on RITEKG05 and no luck with that one either. I've used RITEKG05 in the past and they have been nothing but good for me so now I'm wondering if it could be a bad rip as well. RITEKG05 have been recommended on these posts quite often so I thought I'd give it a shot. Anyways tomorrow I will try it on a Verb +R and see if it works.

Will keep you guyz posted.

If you are using the old SM 2.0 discs to boot the game,
You need to do a TOC refresh using CD loader V7 and a large TOC
original.

http://www.swapmagicfix.com

Also I recommend using DVD decrypter for the read AND burn,
and I recommend using a higher quality media.

http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

The following list is in preference order. The best discs are near the top of the list. The discs at
the bottom of the list are suitable only for a landfill.

Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:
PVC = Pioneer = (-R)(-RW)
MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<-----------------VERBATIM MY CHOICE #1
TDKG02 = TDK Corp = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)<--------------FUJIFILM (made in japan) MY CHOICE #2

Jizmak, I already used DVD Loader 7 (all of the avail. options) as well as checked out Swapmagicfix.com and nothing worked. I'm going to re-rip it with DVD-Dec. and burn it to a Verb. +R that i just got a hold of and will burn it thru DVD-Dec. as suggested above. I hope I don't get a third Coaster.

thanks for replying. will keep you guyz posted.

Don't use +R use -R make sure they are genuine verbatim discs, buy from a reputable store like svp.co.uk or supermediastore.com
