Hi, i've just thought up on something that i've had problems with, I burn a game, put it in it loads fine. Then, nothing happens but your taken back to the browser! This is due to a bad burn, or crap media. A few things that will help you to stop you doing crap burns and buying crap media. These methods will be 95% successful, maybe less if your disk is so bad your PS2 can't read it.

Make sure you have media made by a manufacturer in the 1st or 2nd class.
Second thing, once you have good media.)
Step 1.) Insert your damaged game into the DVD drive and open blindwrite.
Step 2.) Select read on the left menu in blindwrite.
Step 3.) when your drive with your game in is selected and the game below the drop down box says your game name select the destination, check the settings click the drop down box that says profiles and select ISO. image and click read then chill out for 5 minutes (may take longer if scratched badly).
Step 4.) Do not burn with blindwrite. Open dvd decrypter insert blank Disk and burn at 2.4X this worked with my games and PS2.

third thing to try, if the second thing doesnt work.)
1.) Open your Game ISO with ISObuster, select all and extract all files to a folder easily found. Leave ISO buster open.
2.) Then open Nero Startsmart select DVD in the media select menu, highlight the data tab and select make UDF/ISO image.
3.) Go to ISObuster look at the order the files of the game ISO are in and go to your folder in Nero Burning ROM and add them in the same order there in in ISObuster.
4.) Click the Burn button and burn to good media at 2.4X for good quality.
Forth thing to try, not to do with the computer at all)
Like I said not to do with the computer at all, except the computer tutorial. If none of the methods have worked that i've so far written its most likely due to bad laser problems. JParkes, that Blindwrite program dosen't work for me... The same place where my Hitman Contracts game stops at in DVD Decryptor is the same place it stops in Blindwrite... i followed your tut just as u wrote it an nothing... im going to try to extract the game agian with ISO Buster, i'll post my results...

Are you sure you've got the right version, maybe only the full version reads scratches. I'll Post a link to the full version OK.

yup, still dosent work installed FULL version, still stops same place... did you here about this or did you actually try this? well either way this dosent work and my Hitman game isnt even that scratched up...

Really, Humm... I'm suprised that it doesnt work, How long have you had your Hitman game? Have you tried wiping it abit of dust and things that can come off your games surface? If not try this and put your game your reading into the drive you write from, How many drives do you have? One, two how many.. If you have two, put your game in the drive you write from eg. My drive i write from is Lite on DVD+/-/R/W. Put your game in the E drive, normally the top drive if you have two.

@creaky, hey creaky, if you were talking to me, i actually have HITMAN CONTRACTS, its just that it skips sometimes and i would like to play it without the skipping and freezing that it does sometimes...
@JParkes, yup i tried, & it still dosent work , still stops the same place... like 70% of the way on every program that i try it on...
Can't anyone find a fix on this... or am i just out of a HITMAN game?
