i keep getting the ps2 is not a valid disc error. i have copied many games with no problems, and all my backups still work well. i wonder if 2k sports has made this game difficult to copy? anybody have an idea. thanks in advance

so far it only works in combination with sm and zoneloader,try that,it worked for me.
I have a question bout this game though,when the game is loading,you hear the laser has to work really hard,i use qualtiy verbatim media and ty dvd-r's. I burned at 2,4x and at 8x,both games have the same pattern,also in game,it runs perfectly,but you hear the disc spinning a lot,is that because there's a lot of speech in game? What could be the problem,if there is one?

Hi,

i too would like to know what exactly was done in order to get zoneloader to work.

1)download the zoneloader dvd iso and burn it
2)insert swap magic 3.6 dvd into your mod ps2
3)swap magic asks user to load program
4)remove swap magic dvd and insert the newly burned zoneloader dvd into the ps2 tray
5)press the x button on your controller
6)i guess the zoneloader stops spinning and then you place your MLB 2K6 dvd and press x again and game starts???????

is this what needs to be done in order for it to work?

Thanks for the heads on getting it working. I think I may get a chipped ps2 if more games start requiring a double swap.
