First of all id like to say hello to everyone in this forum.
im no noob to ps2 back-up ive backed up over 30 of my ps2 games without fail. but ive never tried to convert/rebuild a dvd-9 game to a dvd-5. im using the guide from this website but i keep getting a error from the cd dvd generator. the error says : "toal sector exeeds the recordable sector". ive looked all over this forum but cannot find anyone whos getting that error. all the previous steps before that such as using apache and dvd decrypter have gone perfect.
please can someone help me with this.

im using :
apache 2
Sony CD DVD Generator v1.2
DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0
iml2iso v1.2

ok the cd dvd gen bit worked now. but now im having a problem with iml2iso lol! it keeps giving me this error : Can't find NO LABEL.ims" 57753 file ! your help is greatly appereciated

maybe im doing this wrong in il show you the guide im using. it doesnt tell you what to name the iml file.
Guide :

1. make a iso image with dvddecrpyter
2. open apache and open the iso you made
3. go to file/extract/all
4. wait a while, it will look like it froze, it dident, you can go to the extracted folder and see the files being created.
5. once it says its done go to file/create file list and save to somewhere convenent
6. click on the red/blue arrow, you will see the files change
7. go to file/extract/all again, put in the same folder as other extracton.
8. go to file/create file list again name it a diffrent name in the same convenynet place
8. open sony CD/DVD creator, make a new dvd project, make new DVD-rom master disk, NOT master disk dual layer , copy the whole directory where you extracted to the directory page (you will have to go up one level from where you extracted and copy the files, not the single directory)
9. go to the layout page and orgnise the files to the order that they where in on the file lists you created, first layer first, then the second layer
11. go to volume fill in the informaton on top, the disk name is the same as the slus file, slus in the first part, the number without the period in the second. for the other informaton just be logical, read the box(Xenosaga was copyrighted by namco, no publisher)
12. go to file/export iml and save the iml in the directory where you extracted
13. open iml2iso and slect the iml file, then create the iso.
14. send the iso to winHIIP.

That's the correct way to do it.

There's two versions of IML2ISO on that previous link. You could try that to see if it works; otherwise, hope that gnie can point you in the right direction!

ok ive rebuilt the iso now but its 7.8 gb!
i thought these programs compresses the iso down to fit it on a 4.3 gb DVD-R help again please everyone!

another way to find my tool, is use Search messages written by ,enter my nick name you can find all the post and tool
