What happened to this very usefull web site? Now it doesn't work? Is there something wrong with it? I can't get to the download page to check on my drive's firmware, if it's been updated. And what's worse is I can't recommend this page to newbies who need a firmware update! Is there something going on with this website?

Did not work for me either. Too bad, was a great resource. I hope that it's only temporary.

Most firmware issues can be found at this site as well:

@Ihoe

You can find most firmwares at the link I posted. You have to go the the specific brand of drive, but most firmwares are listed there or have a link to them.

Cheers.

Just have to go to the cdfreaks site ruger gave, or mfr. I tried the firmware page again, the past few day all I got was website not responding. Today the page comes up but with no fw all you get is some strange message of not obtain user data. You can access forums, maybe they are doing some kind of changeover to the site.

EndItAll2
This handy-dandy tool quickly and easily closes all or selected running programs with a single click. It's perfect to use before running Scandisk or Defrag, since those programs running in the background usually cause restarts with both utilities.
