Hello again guys,

How come whenever I download a torrent file and when I leave it about an hour then try to go to the internet, I couldn't access through the internet anymore? It always says TimeOut or error. Does it eat your internet connection? And even if I finished downloading the file, I still couldn't access through the internet. I still need to restart my router to access in. Recently, I was downloading a file form UTorrent and its internet connection seems great. But when I try to browse to the internet, it couldn't.. Further more, I restarted my router and still nothing happened. All of my folks in the house are getting pissed of at me right now and I really need help

Here are the changes that I made in case these would help>>>
1.)Portforwarded my router to my utorrent to get download speed better

2.) changed my half-max-connection to 50

That pretty much it! Although Am still getting the 4226 warning despite changing my half-max-connection to 50. It wasn't like this before.

I just noticed that my 4226 warnings are getting more and more everytime I change my half-max-connection.

Am using the school's internet right now incase u guys r wondering. =P

One more thing, whenever am trying to repair my internet connection it always says something like your TCP is disabled..

How do I enable it? Sorry for this long entry guys, but I badly need your help!!! Am dead if I didn't fix it..

Thanks a lot, peace..

If by "Eats your connection" you mean slows it down then its a yes i think..i havent heard of a case of a p2p user destroying his connection by using programs like Limewire etc..

Any kind of downloading or uploading affects your internet connection, since it takes up the bandwidth that IE (or whatever browser it is you use) uses, and therefore either slows it down, or makes it impossible to go on the net alltogether.

So what am I going to do about it? I mean when it "eats" the internet connection, it literally removes the connection. Am using Utorrent.

I still want to download from Utorrent but this time, without crashing the internet connection.

Any suggestions?

* BTW, you need a cd to reboot your computer right?*

Peace =P
