After spending 700 dollars on a 360 and bringing it home to play Oblivion, I was pleased. It worked well for about 4 days before it began telling me to insert the Oblivion disk into an Xbox 360, which it already was... The Xbox was telling me to put the 360 Oblivion disk into an Xbox 360. That makes no sense, it's in the 360 and it's an Xbox 360 disk. What is going on? I don't have the money to replace the damn thing and I'm super pissed. Can someone please explain to me what's going on? I can't play Oblivion at all, or any game on the system and when I do play Oblivion, it still locks up every once in a while. I can deal with that but not the system being unable to read the disk. Also, my disk is not scratched or marked at all.

Did you try calling MS Tech support yet? You do have a strange problem.

My friend had the same problem, he called microsoft to get his 360 replaced and still got the same problem, if it's the game the problem, hopefully they can make a patch for it, shame cuz it looks like a real good game.

if i read it right its not the 360 its the disc, i had a copy of quake 4 and it would freeze(if it would load) and say "this is a xbox 360 game disc and should be played on a 360: or somthin like that.
i just took the game back with the reciept and they gave me a new one and now it works fine.
