Plz Help Me...I have DVD FAB Decrypter, DVD Decrypter, TMPG ENcore, etc.
How much Space on my Hard Drive do I need for the movie...I tried to use the DVD Fab and my computer gave me a Blue Screen of Death that said Dumping Insufficient Physical Memory and my comp wouldn't start up again so i waited overnight and it is working now.
You need about 9 to 10 gigabytes of space, for the movie.
DVD X Copy was banned awhile back, and there's no updates for it. It's probably not gonna do the newer movies. For the newer ones, your best bet is DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink (free software). But they have trouble with the newest stuff too.
Then it helps to have AnyDVD running in the background. Even then, sometimes they still don't work. Then I use CloneDVD, with AnyDVD running in the background. I haven't found a movie yet, that these two can't handle. They are not free though. You can download a 21 day free trial of both, to make sure they work for you. Get them here:

If you don't have Shrink, and don't know how to use it(and want to learn), or want to learn Decrypter, there are step by step guides here, to help:

I did a copy of Nania by using DVD Decrypter (mode decrypt) and saving the files on the hard drive which l then opened using DVD Shrink and burnt onto blank dvd using the DVD Decrypter. I couldn't open the disc using DVD Shrink!
once on the hard drive you can use any transcoder/encoder you want to make it fit to a DVD-5. I use DVDRebuilder Pro/CCE for the best quality. If the movie only needs a little compression then I'll use CloneDVD2, CopyToDVD (when no comprssion is needed) and there are many more I can use.......it's person prefferences. hope this helps.
