I enjoy to play World of Warcraft. But sometime you need something else to do. My computer can barely run WoW in a windows box with a instant measanger and a internet screen open. (512 or ram) What things can i clsoe to make it run smoother? And if i close windows will i be able to have my game in a windows box/aim next to it/ then a firefox (or 2) open in the backround? I just need something to free up a little ram. My comp can handle it but barely. I pick up a little lag, but not horrible at all. So, every little bit of ram can help. Also alt+tabbing in and out is sluggish.

Hey yea i had the smae problem and i still do with Battle field 2. the fact of the matter is that the game WOW requires and it says it on the box 512 MB of Ram as seen here.

So your best bet to make aim and FireFox all run int he background with out lagging is to upgrade your ram everything else is neccessary files running in the background to keep the computer running and they arent taking much ram at all anyway.

Ya i have 512 of ram. But the thing is with my comp, was it was just reformated ^^ So, really with 50 mroe ram free my 3-10 sec delay will disapeer. Any extra ram will do!

Freeingup system resources and dropping resources aren't going to help you enough to be noticeable... Ram is definately the way to go. How about you tell us what kind of ram u need and what country you live(for availability purposes) and we'll help you find the best deal.

Run Enditall2, it'll close down any unneeded processor. But if you close down a needed processor you computer'll crash.

With a game like that running just on the requirements he's best off upgrading ram. A few bucks will amazingly make things faster.
