Does anyone know the best encodon software to use for this i have tried a few cucosoft tmpgenc and a few others and i allways get a cant not support file type error and according to gspot i do have the codecs installed. thanks for the help.

The program can convert xvid/divx to mpeg, even if you don't install any codec.
