Perhaps someone can give a hint of what the problem might be.

I have only used DVDCopy to burn DVDs. I have made hundreds of perfect burns with this setup, and continue to do so. But the other day I wanted to make a data DVD so I tried Nero 6 which for some reason cannot see the media. It keeps asking me to put a blank DVD in the drive. I also tried other DVD burning programs and they do the same thing. No media in the drive. And yet DVDCopy sees the media and continues to run fine and I burn disks almost every day with it, fast and reliable.

Drivers all appear okay but I am no expert on ASPI or anything else that might be wrong. Any hints on which software to reinstall? Drivers?
