Hi,

I want to burn a movie that is .AVI format to play on my PS2. My PS2 model is SCPH-39001. I have tried this before but last time I used a Maxell DVD+R, obviously didn't work. This time around, I've decided to order TAIYO YUDEN DVD-R to try and attempt again. My question is what steps should I take to burn the movie onto the DVD-R, which program would you reccomend and what speed should I burn it at?

Any help would be greatly appreciated for this n00b.

There has to be a way.. plus, I'm not starting off with an ISO file, just a regular .AVI file..

"i_suck", whats the best way to convert the AVI into DVD format?

cool, I have WinAVI video converter on my computer.. should I convert the AVI to "DVD" or "MPEG-2" for my PS2 since I've heard talks about both? Are there any other settings I should adjust as well such as the encoder options?
