well you must have a computer with windows media center edition or windows xp the connection application can be downloaded at www.xbox.com in the support section that is of course you registered your 360 online

and the windows media center edition sucks i have tried the pluging 13 times and everytime it crashes windows media center edition

U don't actually need a wmc edition computer to view media on your computer. If u have a computer running windows xp with service pack 2 u can download and install windows media connect wich allows you stream music and pictures from your computer. If you look in your instuction guide it gives you the site or u can go 2 microsoft home page and type in windows media connect and it'll guide u with the download and installation. It's not hard, it's really simple.

I installed media connec ton my pc and the music and pics works fine on the xbox 360 but does anyone know how to watch video from a pc with just xp on it and not media center..

I no media connect centers will only read certain video formats and some won't read videos period and believe the 360 is 1 of those ones that don't read video content period. If u read the guide it specifically say music and pictures.

hey guys. im still having trouble. i downloaded the windows media connect, and when i tested the windows media connection. the copmuter test failed. what did i do wrong?
