i just tried to play he godfather and it says there is no ps2 memory card in the ps2 but it is...im looking right at it

whats going on and will getting this probelm fixed (if i can) result in losing my data?




it is an expansion memory card(32 meg ext.) and im mem card is plugged into it and it is in my ps2...its been working all along

It wont work with 3rd pary memory cards try using a normal sony card

ive been using that memory card tho....i was almost done with the game...its not just the godfather its everygame i just tried to play

tourist trophy says its not formatted ...why has it been working before and doesnt work now


and i have a sony memory card plugged into an expansion mem card which is plugged into the ps2

Well that's a lie for a start ;)

Funnily enough, my expander stopped working the other day.. they are flimsy 3rd party accessories, so there's no guarantee on the life of them. If it works without the expander, then replace the expander, if the memory card fails on it's own, try replacing it, if still to no avail.. you will have to replace the ports.
