Ive been burning ps2 games for awhile now with dvd decrypter and never had any problems. Now though, with newely released games I cant seem to make a backup. It burns to my hard drive fine, but when I go to burn to disk, I get a cyclic redudancy check error. I can still burn older ps2 games. What could be the problem? Thanks!

i have done some new one's and have not run into that problem.
Are you backing them up from originals?
Are you using the same media as the older games you burned that do work, and what kind (brand, speed, +R or -R)
the only time i have ever seen that error was when it was trying to read an original that had a few scratches in it and could not read certain sectors of the disc.

Yea they are originals. Im using Sony DVD+R 8x, the same kind I have been using. It doesnt make any sense.

Not to me either. I have had no problem with games new or old.
I do mine all on DVD-R
have you tried rebuilding the ISO just for kicks to see if that works?
