I am getting this message when trying to user Smartripper 2.41 .........

Does anyone have a fix? I searched google to see if there are more threads out there but couldn't find for this specific error

"List index out of bounds (2)"

I noticed that both DVD's that rendered this error were titled "GGE0NNW1". One is a Disney movie "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and the other is a Sony Pictures movie "Fun with Dick and Jane" yet "An Unfinished Life worked just fine for my friend using 1ClickDVDCopy............ ???

Any help would be FANTASTIC and MUCH APPRECIATED!!

PS_ Tried to use 1ClickDVDCopy and it wouldn't work either although I didn't get the above mentioned error as in SmartRipper.

I still do not know what Smartripper's deal is but I found a work around that may help others......

I used DVDDecrypter (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_...) to rip the DVD to my hard drive and then used 1ClickDVDCopy (http://www.lgsoftwareinnovations.com/purchase.asp) to smash it and burn it to DVD. You get CopyToDvd Free with 1Click.

1ClickDVDCopy costs money but it is worth every penny. Usually it is the ONLY program required to handle it all. You get a link to DVD43 which is the *FREE* companion decrypter and coupled with 1ClickDVDCopy - it does it all - decrypt, rip and smash to DVD.

hey

Try using DVD dycrytor on the DVD first, rip it somewhere on your hard drive, then point Smart ripper to it on the hard drive! I just had the same error and that got me round it!
